Valerian Grammar High School, Bolarum is a Co-educational English Medium High School, with classes from L.K.G. to X. The School was established by Rev.Fr.Vadakkal in the year 1961.
Our School is located in tranquil area with no distractions what so ever. It has spacious class-rooms and vast playground. The Institution has been in the service of the Education for the last 63 years.
The School creates a conducive atmosphere to ignite and bring out the inquisitive nature. This imbibes the zeal for knowledge so that the children develop rational outlook. It trains them to encounter the fierce competition and the challenges of life. We, at Valerian believe in the words that “The Heart of Education is Education of the Heart”. The School motivates the children to achieve all round excellence and attain ‘Education of the Heart’.
By pursuing our motto, ‘The Lord is My Light‘ we relentlessly try to touch the divine spark in each student in order to enable him / her to strive for physical, moral, emotional, intellectual and spiritual growth and help them to emerge as good citizens and true leaders.
With its humble beginning, the School reached the present reputed and reliable position due to the underprivileged efforts of efficient Head Masters and dedicated teachers. We work with a purpose to reach out to the underprivileged and instill in them the discipline, and academic excellence required, relying on the guidance from God, the Almighty.
